There are few from the 2nd expansion I tried that just left me scratching my head as to how the hell one was supposed to get anywhere.īut yeah, I can totally see a big scenario level being neigh unbeatable against strong AI unless you get Town Portal early enough. Or at least the campaign scenarios I finished. You know what, I think it's probably because you played scenarios mostly, which I'll bet is on average way more difficult than the campaign scenarios. ^ Ok that's a typo but I'm gonna leave it because it looks like Geordi La Forge smiling :)
I mostly played single scenarios, those are the ones I best remember, and in those, at least on the big maps (and I like those the best, for all the exploration), it would sometimes be impossible or close to impossible to hold on to what I conquered without something like Town Portal or at least Dimension Door. Also the campaigns would force me to deal with scenarios I absolutely hate, like ones with a time limit.
To be honest, I never really liked the campaigns in 3 all that much or cared much for the story. Still, I was mostly talking about single scenarios, not campaigns. Breja: Well, maybe you're just better at Heroes 3 than me :D That's not hard to imagine.
